Roster Management

Provides a facility to set up rosters for staff. Takes into account business rules such as required timegaps between shifts, required skillsets for each type of shift and history of staff member. This can then be linked to payroll system and staff clock-in system, to automatically generate wage payments.

- Can drastically reduce the skill level requirements of the people preparing rosters
- Provides a complete history of all staff members and shifts they have done, making staff performance reviews easier
- Integration with payroll can drastically improve productivity
- If the company is an outsourced provider of services to customers (e.g. a nursing agency) the system can automatically generate invoices - this can also drastically improve productivity
- Less chance of making a mistake - the rules in the system prevent things like assigning one person to two shifts within the same time period.
