About Nick

Even as a 22-year old quantity surveyor graduate, Nick was driven to improve processes and wrote his first "quick routine on the computer" that doubled efficiency and dramatically increased accuracy for he and his colleagues responsible for counting the many thousands of steel reinforcements used in building Melbourne's Telstra Dome.

It was at this time that Nick was bitten by the database software bug!

Realising by the age of 24 that his true talents and passion were found in reengineering business processes through information technology, he began Digital Tree and his new career.

Now a decade or so later, Nick's 'quick routine on the computer' has developed into one of Australia's most progressive and prominent business software development companies.
